But when we heard about the horrible rental market in Australia, we felt like we needed all the help we could get. And wow, what help we got! Another relocation agent (not from DUC) already refused to support us because she said it was impossible.

We scheduled an initial consultation, where she prepared all the information that were essential for moving over - incl. how they can support, what to consider when renting, brief talk through about possible areas etc. She was very lovely and supportive and agreed that she can't promise anything but we were trying to find a way of how she can support us best.

In the end we got super lucky and managed to secure a temporary rental for the start on our own before we could even proceed to use her services any further.

However we might reach out to her in half a year when we need to find permanent housing - so far we can only recommend her 1000% percent :).
