Rio Tinto Christmas Trail

As a new yearly Christmas tradition, we visit the Rio Tinto Christmas Trail. Located in the city every December, there are heaps on Christmas lights to find around the city. This is a favourite for the kids and us too!

WA Day

WA day is celebrated every year on the first Monday in June.There is a huge celebration called WA Day festival, featuring a drone show which was amazing, carnival rides, food trucks and kids entertainment.

The Christmas Light Trail

If you are anything like me and LOVE Christmas, every year at Christmas the city hosts an event – The Christmas Light Trail. This usually runs from November – January. The are about 35 different locations to visit day & night. You are given a map to download and tick off each light as you go, a new fun family tradition to enjoy. Leigh
