Markets and Boutique Festivals

Mindil Market, Darwin

The market is on every Thursday and Sunday afternoon/evening. Food from around the world, some trinkets and a beautiful sunset to be enjoyed at the beach.
So many food choices, and yes people too. For us I loved to see it busy and lots of people enjoying themselves. After living in Covid times for so long, I love seeing people together enjoying themselves now. There’s a time and a place for the quieter moments in life.
Absolutely reminded us of our time in Thailand. We felt a little pang off homesickness (for Thailand, it must be almost time make a trip back there ).
We cannot recommend an evening here more if you are in Darwin bring a blanket or some camp chairs with you, and make sure you have a couple hours to enjoy your time here.
