CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support

Overview:

This qualification reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments. Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.

Workers may be required to demonstrate leadership and have limited responsibility for the organisation and the quantity and quality of outputs of others within limited parameters.

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.

In association with Disability Training Services RTO 45712, DUC can offer our clients who wish to work in the Aged Care Industry a pathway when they arrive in Australia.

  • You enrol into the Theory component of the training whilst still in home country.
  • Based on experience (Past knowledge) the program can take up to 12 months to complete the Theory.
  • Once in Australia, you will need a police check, (so can reuse your checks you obtained for your Visas) and placement will be arranged for you.
  • You need to complete 160 hours of on-the-job placement to complete your practical assessment.

National Recognised Qualification: CHC43015 Certificate IV Ageing Support.
