Places to eat in South Australia

This page has been designed to allow migrants to nominate places to eat that makes them feel like home as many of our UK clients ask us where to find a decent curry or roast for example.

If you come across a place that you would like to recommend please feel free to complete the below form. If you can take a photo or video of the place or food even better!

It could be anything from fish and chips, to high tea and everything in-between…

Settling in to Australia has its challenges, if you know where to get a good feed it can help with the ‘Home Sickness’.

No matter where you came from in the world we would love to hear your feel good recommendations. Please click the button below to add.

The most intimate but family friendly winery with incredibly friendly hosts. We had a table in the outdoor marquee area which was cosy even in winter. They served the most delicious platters and the Rose wine was to die for.
They have a retro bus for wine tasting and the main building which has seating for food and drinks. This is all set in lovely gardens with alpacas, a kids play area and a gift shop on site.

Bake Bakery in Coromandel Valley

It took us 6 months to find a decent bakery but boy we did with this place! The only problem is it’s only 2 minutes from home!

Bake is a traditional bakery which operates 24 hours a day and is open 12 hours every day. They make everything inhouse from amazing doughnuts, beautiful pies, a massive selection of cakes and fresh bread. I struggle to drive past without grabbing a coffee too.

The bakery is located opposite a natural creek. The local government have spent millions of dollars on a new walk/bike path which runs for miles. We enjoy a walk or cycle along it as a family, which usually results in a snack stop 🙂
